US Environmental Proposals and Legislation

In the United States, there is no federal or national environmental regulation equivalent to the European Union's WEEE and RoHS. The US Environmental Protection Agency is continuing to place pressure on the issue, however, and has recently issued a proposed rule regarding the handling and disposal of Cathode Ray Tubes found in computer monitors and television sets.
