New RoHS Legislation (in force from 1st July 2008)
Deca Brominated Diphenyl Ether (Deca BDE) in polymeric applications had been exempted from banned list of Perfluorooctane Sulfonates (PBDE)'s under the EU's RoHS Directive.
The ruling in the European Court of Justice on 1st April 2008 ruled against the Commission's decision for Exemption of Deca BDE (2005/717/EC).
In accordance with this decision, Deca BDE is deemed a restricted hazardous substance from 1st July 2008.
Arrow has listed all manufacturers who have confirmed the status of their products on this web link.

Deca BDE is present in the Thermal caps used for LM399H and LM399AH. LTC does not ship these two products as RoHS complaint parts and is working on finding suitable replacement for these thermal caps.
