Arrow Sponsors 11th Hofstra Presidential ConferenceAs part of Arrow's commitment to supporting higher education, the company recently partnered with Hofstra University as a major sponsor of the school's 11th Presidential Conference, William Jefferson Clinton: The “New Democrat” From Hope . Held from November 10 to 12 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y., near Arrow's corporate headquarters, the three-day conference attracted world-renowned scholars, government leaders and policy-makers from around the world to discuss and analyze more than 40 topics related to Clinton's eight-year United States presidency from 1993 to 2001. The event featured a keynote address by Clinton, as well as daily keynote sessions by former Cabinet members and closing plenary sessions by journalists, historians and other prominent figures. The first Hofstra Presidential Conference was held in 1982 highlighting the United States presidency of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who served from 1933 to 1945.
