John N. Hanson

John N. Hanson has been nonexecutive chairman of the board of Joy Global, Inc., a manufacturer of mining equipment for both underground and surface applications, since February 2007. Previously, he was chairman, chief executive officer and president of Joy Global Inc. for more than five years. He is a director of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and chairman of the American Coal Foundation.
