Arrow Sasco Holz GmbH in Central Europe received the “Best Analog Point of Sale (POS) Growth Rate Award 2005” from Microchip, a leading manufacturer of semiconductor solutions, for achieving the highest growth rate for analog devices out of all of Microchip's European distributors during the past 12 months.
“We see this award as motivation to further intensify our efforts in the area of analog devices, together with Microchip,” says Paul Scholten, managing director, Arrow Sasco Holz. “This is the first award received by Sasco Holz since the merging of the two companies earlier in July. It underscores our strategy to continue the Design-In focus we had as individual companies, under the Sasco Holz name.”
Scholten adds, “With more than 40 FAEs [field application engineers] and a sales workforce of over 100, the wealth of resources we have available guarantee a broad presence across the whole of Central Europe. As a result of the merger, Sasco Holz has achieved a market capitalization neither company enjoyed before. Consequently our long-term partners will also profit from this.”
